In order to do this, every year Threads of Life will host its flagship fundraiser - Steps for Life. A fun 5 km walk that aims to educate the community about the devastating ripple effects of each workplace tragedy and how we can work together to prevent others being injured or killed on the job.

Maxim Safety Week

  • Event Description: We will have every employee submit their own personal ideas and reasons for making Health & Safety a habit. We will give everyone a small token for participation. All the posters will be put up around the office as a daily reminder for the week. Health and Safety facts will be sent daily via email and posted these in the lunch room for those who do not have email. We will be supplying healthy snacks daily for the employee's during afternoon break, veggie's and dip & Hummus, fruit trays, popcorn (different flavors), yogurt parfait (yogurt, granola, fruit, and honey) The last day we will be drawing a couple of names for the employee's who submitted safety ideas, and celebrating with some frozen yogurt or a non-healthy cake.
