Time: 9:00 AM Event Location & Address: AVC, Lecture Theatre A Hosting Organization: University of Prince Edward Island Event Description: Clare Waddell, Youth Education Consultant with the Occupational Health and Safety Division of WCB, will present a free safety information session titled "Young Worker Safety". Clare will discuss the rights and responsibilities of young workers and share a short video. The session will be held on Thursday, May 6th from 9:00-10:30 am in AVC Lecture Theatre "A". All summer students as well as their supervisor are encouraged to attend. After the presentation an individual from UPEI will be presented with the 2nd Annual UPEI Safety Champion Award.
